Our yearly grape harvest is here with us and with it, comes an opportunity to stomp the grapes too. Exciting, right? For that reason, you should not miss AmRhein Wine Cellars vineyard grape stomp festival. This annual event is arguably one of the most thrilling festivals on our events calendar. You must be wondering how you can be part of the fun, right? If you are an ‘I love Lucy Fan’ you remember the I Love Lucy episode from 1956; where she was employed to stomp grapes in a vineyard. On that note, you cannot miss out on the festival’s highlight which happens to be ‘Stomp-For-Charity’ where local charities will stomp their heart out to collect the most juice for money donations.

This event will be held at the AmRhein winery, 9243 Patterson Drive, on Bent Mountain this weekend, October 27th from 4pm to 9pm. The public is invited to attend this annual event and become part of an age-old grape stomping tradition. Visitors can bring their children and their dogs, too, fun for the entire family. And don’t forget to bring a lawn chair, blanket, jacket and a flashlight too. You can bring your coolers with drinks and snacks too, but no alcohol, please.

Why is our grape stomping festival a must attend? It’s a unique experience you are sure to enjoy! There are various fun filled activities to participate in like the BARREL RACES and the BONFIRE at dusk with MARSHMALLOW ROASTING and S/MORES for everyone!

Plus, Chaos Mountain Brewing will be there to share their brews and Master Sergeant BBQ and Delta Rae’s Café will be showing off their delicious food creations. Enjoy all this while listening to Dave Porter Band jazz style and the rhythm and blues of Hoppie Vaughan and the Ministers of Soul. Thus, you are assured of nothing short of a fun-filled afternoon.
