About the Event
This wine and watercolor party is perfect for a girls-day-out or for a date! From a seasoned painter to a newbie, we will have everything you need for a fun time. Grab your crew and let’s get this paint party started! Price includes a glass of wine!
The Wine & Watercolor Class is approximately 2 hours in length for instruction. All participants receive 11 x 14 water color paper, paints, brushes and friendly step by step instructions. Techniques are practiced first before main painting. Artist instructor, Buffy Guthrie, will work with each guest to re-create the featured painting, 'Through The Woods' using a technique to 'loosen up' and feel free to let the colors flow.
Water-colorist, Buffy Guthrie, has been painting watercolors for fourteen years. She is inspired by the country life, with landscapes and farm animals and most recently exploring painting textures of scenery and plant life, Buffy enjoys challenging herself by trying different and unique ways to paint with watercolors.
Please arrive at least at 1:45 pm to get ready to sip, paint & party!
A minimum of 5 paid guests is required for our Wine & Watercolor event. AmRhein’s Wine Cellars reserves the right to cancel or reschedule if the minimum is not met. A maximum of 12 guests for this event due to spacing. Event will be rain or shine and class will be held inside the tasting room.
