About the Event
Celebrate the beginning of summer and Father's Day at  AmRhein's sWine Roast which takes place on the winery estate with stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountain, mountain vineyard and pond. Festive live flat footin' local bluegrass music begins at 2 pm. Enjoy a picnic style meal of succulent roasted pig by pitmaster Bad Dog BBQ (Salem VA) and all the fixins with fantastic wine pairings and local Chaos Mountain Brewing beer in a family friendly atmosphere. Pets are welcome & you are welcome to bring your own chairs and picnic blankets.Â
Ticket price includes:
- Plated BBQ meal plus fixins and dessert - Pulled Pork & Chicken, Mac-n-Cheese, Baked Beans, Artisan Cole Slaw, Green Beans & Homemade Banana Pudding / Birthday Cake (It's Russ Amrhein's 70th birthday, too!)
- Free wine tasting of 3 select wines
- Live Bluegrass music

- Additional wine tastings  - $12 tasting of 8 additional wines

Bluegrass music begins at 2 pm and food is available from 12:00pm to 5:30pm.Â
