Gather a trivia gang of your cleverest friends or join with a table and throw down your best guesses at Sippin’ Smarties Trivia Sunday. You’ll laugh about your wacky team name, you’ll bond over wild guesses… heck, you might even win some prizes! Sound good? Action starts at 3 pm. Always free, fun, fast-paced and full of prizes! Prizes are awarded each trivia round and the top scoring team at the end, everyone’s a winner at AWC’s trivia Sundays because what you lack in scores you can always make up for in sips! (Minimum of 3 teams of 2 for Sippin' Smarties to take place-event will be cancelled on Saturday evening if not enough players are registered online)

Make sure to join us from 1-3 pm to get your “brain lubed” during our “Wino Happy Hour” to get $2 OFF every bottle of wine and $2 pizza slices from Bent Mountain Bistro!

OPERATIONS:

~All Teams Must Be Signed Up by 3:00 pm (online registration required by Saturday Evening)

~Prizes for the Top 3 Teams at the end of the event.

~Team Size 2 to 6 players

~Featuring Topics Like: Movie Buffs, Food & Drink, Music, Sports, Super Fly 90’s, Super Nerdy, Mega Rad 80’s, That’s 70’s, Political Junkies, TV Reality, Historical Facts, The Office, Virginia Wine & Viticulture

FORMAT:

Question/Answer format mostly, a few multiple choice & T/F . There will be Tie-Breaker Questions available

Bonus Rounds Can Include: Virginia Wine & Viticulture Trivia, AmRhein's Wine Cellar Trivia

Requirements: Must have someone to keep score of teams and must be 21 years or older to play

SCORING:

Each team elects one person to write down their answers. Teams exchange score sheets and mark each other’s points while the correct answers are read out loud. Award points for each correct answer. Team scores will be tallied at the end of each round and at the end of the trivia event for prizes.

DATES FOR TRIVIA SUNDAYS: (usually second Sunday of each month except for November)

JULY 14, AUG. 11, SEPT. 8, OCT. 13, NOV. 3
